Due to digital typography the job of professional hand letters has become extinct. Thankfully Alejandro Paul and Sudtipos have brought hand lettering and calligraphy scripts back to life. These Bluemlein scripts came to be by sampling different signatures and formulating complete alphabets from them. The fictitious Mr.Dafoe plays ode to the 200 professional hand letters working in the 1930’s through World War II.
